Instructions for use
1 Inspect and if necessary, cleanse the wound.
2 Remove the sterile dressing from the package.
3 To apply the dressing, remove the clear liner.
4 Position and gently place the dressing, with the gel side down
5 Secure with a secondary dressing.
6 Inspect the wound and the surrounding tissue regularly.
7 The dressing can remain in place for up to 5 days, dependent upon the amount of wound exudate.
Contraindications
Do not use on individuals with a known sensitivity to the ointment or its components. Mesitran Mesh should not be used on:
- Dirty, infected or heavily exuding wounds
- Full thickness burns
- Deep, narrow cavities
- Sinuses
