Instructions for use
1 Inspect and if necessary, cleanse the wound.
2 Remove lid, clean the mouth of the tube and the lid with an alcohol swab.
3 Push the top of the lid into the foil to break the seal.
4 Apply the ointment to the wound using an appropriate secondary dressing.
5 Mesitran Ointment and Mesitran Ointment S can remain in place for up to 48 hours.
Contraindications
Do not use on individuals with a known sensitivity to the ointment or its components.
Not suitable for use on full thickness burns.
